CruzFit 2013 Tracking

Below you will find the information for the CruzFit 2013 Tracker! Please note, you must register prior to starting your tracking, so if you haven't registered your team yet, start here...

The following is to be completed by the Team Captains - only one tracker per team!!

Starting your tracking requires an easy 4-step set-up: (CLICK HERE FOR A SHORT VIDEO TUTORIAL)

1)  OPEN the master-copy

a.  Sign-in to your UCSC Google Drive account at http://docs.google.com (to sign-in use your UCSC email address & CruzID Blue Password).

b.  Open the CruzFit 2013 Tracker Master-Copy by clicking on this link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AidKGBJzkL0ndGFsRUhGMkk0RXhlWlVaajFmc19NdHc

2)  COPY the file

a.  With the CruzFit 2013 Tracker Master-Copy open in your browser, at the top-left corner of the browser screen, click “File”, and then “Make a copy…”

b.  In the “Copy document” pop-up screen, create a file-name for your team’s new CruzFit 2013 Tracker (we recommendCruzFit 2013 Tracker – [Team Name]), then click “OK”.

3)  SHARE the file with your team

a.  At the top-left corner of the browser screen, click “File”, and then “Share”.

b.  At the bottom of the “Share Settings” pop-up screen, where it say’s “Add people”, input the email addresses of your CruzFit team members (please use UCSC email addresses when possible).  Also include the email address This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so that we can help you with your tracker, if/when needed.  When finished, click “Share & save”.

4)  PERSONALIZE your team’s CruzFit 2013 Tracker

(NOTE: Only type in the YELLOW cells.  Editing any of the other cells may disrupt the multiple formulas that have been pre-installed in the file to auto-calculate many of your goals and totals.  Also, do not delete any of the Team Member tabs, even in you have fewer than 4 team members, this will also disrupt the auto-calculation formulas.  Thanks!)

a.  Click on the “Team Tracker” tab at the bottom of the document and enter your Team Name and Team Members’ names in the appropriate yellow boxes. You can also edit the names in the tabs at the bottom of the document for your team.

b.  Click on your assigned (according to the # next to your name on the Team Tracker page) “Team Member” tab at the bottom of the document and then type an “x” under your chosen challenge-level.  This will automatically fill-in your appropriate individual goals, as well as calculate the cumulative team goals on the Team Tracker page.

 

You’re finished with the set-up!  Now start exercising and tracking your accumulated daily minutes by entering them into the YELLOW cells on YOUR tab of your team’s tracker.  Your total individual minutes, as well as your team’s total cumulative minutes, will be automatically summed and added to your trackers.  Your and your team’s total minutes-remaining to reach your weekly and overall CruzFit goals will also be automatically calculated and input.  At the end of the 8 weeks you’ll received instructions on how to submit your completed CruzFit 2013 Trackers so that you and your teammates can earn your t-shirts.  It’s as easy at that!
