Summer Classes

This class will offer a dynamic combination of muscle endurance and strengthening using the TRX strap system combined with Cardio interval training.

Summer Fitness Class: TRX/Cardio Combo Clinic

The TRX system is a superior strap system created by a Navy Seal in order to achieve the highest state of physical condition and readiness. Exercises are performed in 3 dimensional space, and based on bodyweight. The TRX lends to a high level of functional training and strengthening in all planes of motion, and therefore, creates a more varied and demanding workout. Not to mention, of course that it's ALOT of FUN!

Summer Session 2:  August 9th - September 1st (4 weeks)

MORNING CLASS:  T/Th morning class- 8:30 - 9:30 am (8 classes):
Students: $40, Wellness Card Holders:$60, All others: $80
(NOTE: this does not include facility access fees)

EVENING CLASS:  Th evening class- 5:30 - 6:30 pm (4 classes):
Students: $20, Wellness Card Holders, $30, All others $40
(NOTE: this does not include facility access fees)

Read on for class details:
Preliminary Body Assessment Clinic, Monday August 1st (more details to come): Includes Final Registration/ Fee Payment, Body Composition Testing, Measuring and Fitness Assessment. This will also be your chance to meet your Trainer (Kimball Barton) and establish a baseline in order to gauge your physical progress in the class!  

The program will become progressively more challenging as we move through 4 weeks of high intensity workouts.

Week 1: Designed to teach technique and safety in using the TRX: As well as establishing Sets, Reps and Cardio intervals in order to create a strong foundation weeks' 2, 3, and 4.

Week 2: We continue to add various Full Body Strength Exercises,as well as demanding Core, Cardio Interval, and Stretching on TRX. 

Weeks 3 & 4: Continued progression through more demanding TRX Techniques Cardio, Stretch. Informal acknowledgement of physical progress made by participants.

PLEASE NOTE: This class is geared towards those who already established level of fitness.
